People who give to your organization on FirstGiving can choose to pay the transaction fee on the donation. It's 100% optional.

When your supporters cover the credit card and FirstGiving fees on their donations, they add a small amount onto their donation so that when the fee is deducted, you receive the full amount the donor was intending to give you. You'll see this information in your payment report breakdown so don't be alarmed if it looks different the next time you login.
