Send this out to fundraisers after they have created a personal fundraising page.

 

Hello, SUPPORTER:

I want to thank you personally for creating a fundraising page and supportingYOUR NONPROFIT.  We appreciate your efforts from the bottom of our hearts. 

Here are a few tips to make your fundraising a smashing success:

  • Personalize your page: If you haven’t done so already, give your page personality by uploading a personal picture and YouTube Video.  Then, write a compelling message to share with your donors.
  • Share your page: Send your page to your friends, family, training buddies, mail carrier, co-workers, old roommates, your doctor, neighbors—everyone you know. 
  • Use social media to promote your page: Post your FirstGiving fundraising page to your blog, Facebook, Twitter account, email signature, or any place that gets a lot of activity.  Learn more.
  • Keep your donors informed: Let them know about your fundraising progress and training; they just might donate again or tell others to do so, and they will be happy to follow your success.
