Send this out to supporters that have registered for your event, but have yet to create a personal fundraising page.  It is a great idea to remind supporters they can fundraise for the event as well.

Hello, SUPPORTER:

Thank you for registering for NAME OF YOUR EVENT.  Last year’s event created awareness for YOUR NONPROFIT and raised money for a wonderful cause, and we’re even more excited about this year’s event.

Our fundraising goal for this event is $XX,XXX, and we’re asking for your help. Since you have taken on the challenge of participating in the event, please consider taking on a more important challenge–fundraising.

It’s easy to create a fundraising page on FirstGiving [link to your Nonprofit’s page on FirstGiving]. It only takes about 10 minutes, and the money you will raise will be an added reward for you and a worthy cause.

  1. Click the Get Started button on the YOUR NONPROFIT start page, then select NAME OF YOUR EVENT.
  2. Click Register Offline, and then enter your registration code when prompted. (Your code was emailed to you after you registered.)
  3. Choose your page URL, and customize your page.
  4. Send your page to your friends and family so they can support you.

For more information on creating your page, visit FirstGiving. Or, if you would like to make a one-time donation, please click Donate on our YOUR NONPROFIT start page [add link].

If you need any help getting started, please contact the FirstGiving support team at 877-365-2949 or support@firstgiving.com

We rely on the dedicated efforts of supporters like you. Thank you again for all you do.

Best regards,
