How the nonprofit receives the funds you raise on your page

FirstGiving sends funds raised to the nonprofit on a weekly basis if they've signed up for Electronic Funds Transfer, or monthly if they prefer to receive a check.  Monthly checks go out about mid-month for the previous month's totals (so, for instance, all donations received in December are sent in mid-January).
