Once donations are processed, your donor will receive an email titled [FirstGiving] Thank you for your donation. The email includes the:

• Date
• Amount
• Donor's name and address
• Nonprofit's name, address, and tax ID number

Your donor can print this email for their records and use it as a receipt. Whether or not a donation is tax deductible is determined by the nonprofit you're raising funds for. If it's not clear whether the donation is tax deductible, please contact the nonprofit directly. If you're not sure how to get in touch with them, contact us with your name and the name of the nonprofit you're fundraising for, and we'll connect you.
