Once donations are processed, you'll receive an email titled [FirstGiving] Thank you for your donation. You can print this email for your records and use it as a receipt.

Is this donation tax deductible?

Whether a donation is tax deductible or not is determined by the nonprofit you're donating to.  We encourage nonprofits to add tax-deductibility information to their receipts.  However, if it's not clear whether this donation is tax deductible, please contact the nonprofit directly. If you're not sure how to get in touch with them, contact us with your name and the name of the nonprofit you're donating to, and we'll connect you.
